The following are the product features of the iWhite Whitening Vita Aqua Moisturizer that made it stand out among other moisturizers that I have already tried and tested:
- blue in color
- water-based
Using the Aqua Moisturizer by iWhite Korea can be considered as a simple de-stressing activity for me as the scent is very refreshing, similar to an after-shower scent.
The active ingredients are the following:
- Mulberry Root Extract - soothes irritated skin; antioxidant; clears skin; rejuvenates skin; makes skin soft and radiant
- Panax Ginseng Root Extract - known as a skin-conditioning agent that reduces wrinkles and fine lines
- Green Tea Leaf Extract - anti-microbial and conditions the skin
Packaging
The Aqua Moisturizer is packed in a simple squeeze type tube, with the ends having a foil cover and being enclosed by a plastic flip-top cap.
It is very straightforward and nothing flippant about it.
Consistency
The product comes in a gel form and is very thick but very easy to blend. Upon blending, tiny water droplets will immediately appear since it is water-based (almost like magic on my first time!).
As you can see, the iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer has a refreshing blue color and appears matte in texture. It is also not runny and stayed in place even when I shook my hand sideways. It is very light and can be easily absorbed by the skin due to its water-based formula. It dries to a semi-matte finish, which I really like.
You can also see in the short clip below how the water droplets appear while blending:
Effectivity
On my 6th - 7th day of usage, I can feel that it has helped the suppleness and firmness of my skin. Applying makeup has become easier, especially when it comes to blending. It has taken me a whole bottle before I can actually see the noticeable improvement on my skin. As for the whitening, it does not have a strong change in my skin tone, but the appearance of my acne marks has been lessened. This is a good moisturizer for teenagers and adult who have normal to mild skin problems.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Has a mild refreshing scent
- Easily absorbed by the skin
- Very light on the skin
- Dries matte
- Makes skin smooth and easier to be applied on with makeup
- Cheaper if you compare it to Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel
- Did not break me out/irritate my skin
- Did not make my skin oily
- Improved the appearance of my acne marks
- Good for teenagers
Cons:
- A light moisturizer
Repurchase? Yes. I will also recommend this to teenagers as the iWhite Whitening Vita Aqua Moisturizer is a very light moisturizer, and a good introductory skincare product for their age range.
